Dijelaskan, kondisi itu terjadi karena saat ujian naik kelas, murid yang pintar dan yang bodoh sama-sama naik kelas atau saat ujian akhir, siswa yang pintar dan bodoh semuanya lulus.
Menurut dia, budaya seperti itu terjadi akibat KKN, secara sadar dan tidak sadar, sudah diajarkan sejak dini di sekolah sehingga siswa yang mendapat nilai tiga dikatrol jadi lima atau yang dapat lima dinaikkan menjadi tujuh. Demikian juga siswa yang seharusnya tidak lulus, diluluskan juga.

Researchers Identify New Target in Cancer Fight
Scientists have identified a new way of fighting cancer that limits the growth and spread of a variety of tumors in laboratory animals.
When you get a cut, the area quickly becomes inflamed - swollen, red, and tender as the body's immune system sends white blood cells to fight infection and heal the wound.
The immune system reacts to many cancers in much the same way, says University of California, San Diego researcher Judith Varner.
"The white blood cells rush to the tumor and attempt to heal the 'wound' in a manner that actually never stops," she explains. "And because it doesn't stop, because the cancer doesn't go away, the white blood cells actually help the cancer to grow."
That happens when the immune system cells are 'hijacked' by the tumor in a way that fosters the growth and spread of tumors.
Varner and her colleagues identified a specific enzyme called PI-3 kinase gamma that allows the immune cells to get into the tumor, where it can be compromised.
They figured out how to block PI-3 kinase gamma, using either drugs or genetic methods, in laboratory mice.
"When we treated animals with early tumors, we found that we could stop the stage of tumor at the early stage, and we prevented the invasive stage from developing. And that's only by targeting the inflammation, even without a drug that affects the tumor cell itself," Varner says.
In addition to the mice with breast cancer, the researchers also used this approach on a variety of other cancers in laboratory animals and found it was consistently effective across a range of different kinds of tumors.
"So we were able to inhibit half of all the tumor growth in pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, melanoma, lung cancer. And there's every reason to believe that any other solid tumor cancer would be also responsive."
Varner says suppressing PI-3 kinase gamma might in theory also be effective to reduce the risk of cancer in the first place, in cases where chronic inflammation contributes to tumor formation.
She says human testing of PI-3 kinase gamma inhibitors to battle cancer could begin as soon as a year or so from now.

7 Children Infected With E. Coli in France
French health authorities say seven children have been hospitalized with E. coli infections in northern France, five of them after eating defrosted beef burgers.
The officials said Thursday the strain of E. coli that infected the children is not linked to a deadly outbreak of bacteria in Germany that has killed at least 39 people and infected more than 3,300 others in recent weeks.
The seven children, the youngest of them 20 months old, come from towns in France's Pas de Calais region. They were hospitalized on Wednesday and Thursday with E. coli symptoms such as bloody diarrhea.
French officials say five of the children had eaten frozen ground beef patties sold by German supermarket chain Lidl and produced by French company SEB. Lidl has removed the "Steak Country" product from all of its stores in France on orders of French health authorities.
SEB says the recall affects about 10 tons of meat that may come from several EU nations, including Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
SEB chief executive Guy Lamorlette told the French news agency that the company is awaiting test results to determine if the frozen beef burgers were responsible for the French E. coli cases. He says the products were checked for safety before being delivered to stores.
German officials say the more dangerous strain of E. coli affecting northern Germany has been traced to sprouts from a local farm.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai says the United States and other foreign powers are holding talks with the Taliban about a possible settlement to the near decade-long war in Afghanistan.
President Karzai said "foreign forces, and especially the United States" are carrying out the talks.
Karzai's announcement is thought to be the first official comments on U.S. involvement in such negotiations.
The Afghan leader was speaking Saturday at a press conference in the capital, Kabul.
The U.S. Embassy in Kabul has declined immediate comment on Mr. Karzai's remarks.
Earlier this week, U.S. President Barack Obama met with his top Afghanistan commander, General David Petraeus, to discuss plans for the eventual withdrawal of U.S. troops.
A White House spokesman said they discussed a "broad array" of options.
Obama has called for U.S. forces to begin pulling out of the country in July, with all combat troops set to leave Afghanistan by the end of 2014.
